"Maverick"

Maverick was born November 10, 2000, weighs 75 pounds, and is approximately 23-1/2 inches height. His Hips are OFA "GOOD", Elbows & Heart "Normal" and Eyes are "cleared" through CERF.

Maverick has a beautiful medium gold coat with lighter, contrasting feathering. His coat is short and dense, with moderate feathering. We have always referred to his coat as "wash and wear", as it required very little maintenance, and always was very straight.

Maverick has a fantastic temperament! He is extremely lovable and very people oriented. He's fun and playful, energetic without being hyper. Maverick is trustworthy and intelligent, confident and non-aggressive. He is very dog friendly - he loves puppies!

He has a beautiful headpiece, and soft expression with large dark eyes. His dark pigment is year 'round. Maverick has full dentition and a scissors bite. Maverick's outline shows a solid topline and a nice neck to shoulder blend (which includes proper layback). He has a strong, powerful sidegait and excellent foot timing.
