About Us
It all started out for me about 30 years ago - I was busy showing Collies when I met my soon-to-be husband, Phil. He was heavily involved with raising and training Golden Retrievers for hunting. It wasn't long after we met that I realized just how great the Golden Retriever breed is.
In 1990 my husband and I purchased our first Golden Retriever together - Thornfield Victoria Rose. I have been showing our dogs in conformation ever since then.
Our Golden Retrievers are very much a part of our family, joining us on walks to the park down the street and especially trips to our cottage in northern Michigan where they love to swim in the lake!
